The National Chamber of Fisheries is a guild that brings together most of the Ecuadorian tuna fleet and small pelagics, as well as industries that produce fresh, frozen, in preserves and flour.

The Chamber, as a union entity, has as its activities, permanent contact and lobbying with the different authorities, both in the fisheries field (Vice-Ministry of Aquaculture and Fisheries), as well as others with a transversal impact as the Ministry of Labor Relations, Foreign Trade, Industries and Competitiveness, Environment, etc., trying to protect the interests of the sector, seeking to influence decision-making in the public sector, at the administrative, regulatory and control levels for the benefit of the fishing sector and the country.
